News from around the School

Our aim is to bring the best out of every pupil that attends Little Thetford CofE Primary School.

Parent and Carer Survey November 2024

As a school, we value the feedback of our parents to help us understand what is working well and where we can make improvement. Parental engagement has a significant impact on the progress of pupils and the development of the school as a whole.

We have used the sort of questions that Ofsted poses when it conducts inspections as well as a few specific questions that help us to understand your wider views about the school. From this feedback we can then review and reshape how we as an academy support the community that we serve.

Please find below the results and feedback from our recent survey.

We celebrated the 80th Anniversary of VE Day with a street party and dressing up in red white and blue.

In March we held a Science Fair to celebrate National Science week. The children produced scientific experiments and investigations on the theme of ‘Change and Adapt’. We had some very creative and innovative displays including gravity, the solar system, water recycling and renewable energy.  Many of the exhibits celebrated the work of famous scientists such as Isaac Newton, Marie Curie and Louis Pasteur. The standard of the work was very impressive and was shared with parents and children. Well done to everyone who took part.
